Season 5 Episode 2 – It’s The Cadwell and Ball show!

This week we’ve got Warwick Johnston-Cadwell and Robert Ball on the show, chatting about their co-created character Derek Danger, and his debut comic Dangeritis.

We’re hoping soon to have a voicemail box up so that listeners can drop in questions for announced guests or just conversation topics, so keep an eye out for that.

Later skaters.

2D Comics Festival Special

We’re just back from this year’s 2D Comics Festival in Derry, and what a weekend it was. We had our own panel, which hopefully we’ll be able to bring you as an episode in the not too distant future, and on Saturday night we had a chat with Chris Ryall of IDW Publishing, Declan Shalvey of Thunderbolts & Dark Avengers fame and Stephen Mooney, who’s on the brink of releasing his creator owned book Half Past Danger.

Please excuse the sound being a bit all over the place – the guys were a tad… merry, shall we say, and sometimes the mics weren’t directed right at their face-holes.

Season 3 – Episode 1 – Back From The Dead

New Year, new promises to break.

We’re at a new location! Again! Ron delivers a bombshell, Scott reviews Batman: Noel and PJ tells us about his Christmas.

And we allude to a super secret project…

Poo! Apparently in the big server move, we ballsed up this particular episode and uploaded the wrong audio. Now, it turns out, I can’t find the right audio. So, until we can correct it, this will forever be one of the Lost Sunnyside Comics Recordings… (there’s more of these than you know…)

Special Episode – Tintin Movie Review

This Friday sees the release of Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson’s big screen incarnation of Tintin, one of the most iconic non-superhero characters in comics.

The three of us went to see it this morning, check out the show for our thoughts!

Oh, and don’t forget we’re on iTunes too. Subscribe there and save yourself from checking here! And leave us a nice review too…

Also, check out Tintin stuff on Amazon here. Remember if you buy it via our link we get a wee kick back. Might make you feel better about us doing this for nothing…

Season 2 Episode 7 – What Do You Do?

In which we mourn the passing of Steve Jobs, discuss the DC New 52 and debate the correct way to dis-impact a child’s bowels.

Seriously, stick with us this week. It took a few unexpected turns down VERY dark alleys, but that’s what happens when we don’t see each other for a while.

Season 2 Episode 5 – Throw Us on the Fire

We’ve been camping it up at Sunnyside Towers!

Or rather, Ron’s got a bit carried away with the sound effects. Never mind.

Still, we had our fun, and that’s what counts.

Some chat about the iPad 2, BPRD – Plague of Frogs, Thor and the fact that Scott’s not single. For how long, who can say?

Don’t forget to tell your friends and especially your enemies about us. You can subscribe in iTunes at this here link here.

Season 2 – Episode 4 – Will it Stick?

So, we’re back. Again.
We chat about the Pomodoro Technique, catch up on what we’ve all been at, Scott reviews Luthor and some other Superman book and we talk about the iPad, just for a change.
I’m sure I’ll add more to this in a bit, but at the minute I’m starving and need my lunch.
As usual you can find us on Twitter, and don’t forget to subscribe to the show in iTunes if that’s your podcatcher of choice.
Oh, and you can donate to Ron’s ill-advised Vajazzling notion over here!

Season 2 – Episode 2 – Yaaarrrr!

Piracy. It’s a funny old game. During the week there was a bit of chat on Twitter about Colleen Doran’s article at The Hill. We took this as a jumping off point to discuss our own experiences with piracy, what we think of it, who does it…

Or at least we do our best while PJ waves around his new favourite appendage.

Along the way we do mention Chris Scheitzer’s excellent book Crogan’s Vengeance. And anything we admit to that’s illegal or dodgy is just us having a joke. Our lawyers told us to say that.

We also squeeze in a bit of a chat about comic collections, and then Scott goes off on one about TV downloading.

Also, our last show of this year is coming up, and we’d love to know what you think the books of 2010 have been, and also what you’d like for Christmas. Fire your thoughts into the comments, or over at Twitter.

Season 2 – Episode 1 – The Return!

So, we’re back after a lengthy absence. Sorry about that. Life and a few other things got in the way.

On the show we review the all-new Dandy comic as well as Darwyn Cooke’s latest Parker adaptation, The Outfit.

We also chat a bit about AMC’s The Walking Dead, PJ’s adventures in Con-Land and what we’ve all been up to while we were away.

We’re going to try and keep it together to be regular again, so thanks for coming back!

Don’t forget to subscribe to the show on iTunes, or to ‘Like’ the shows on Facebook or Tweet about it, all of which can be done from the blog here. We really need you the listener to spread the word about the show as much as possible – it keeps us enthusiastic!
